Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 June 2026
Clubhouse (“we”, “us”) is a golf score-tracking app for playing with friends. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under UK GDPR. We've kept it in plain English.
Who we are
Clubhouse is operated from England, United Kingdom. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at flynn@resolutionweblimited.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, username (handle), and display name.
- Profile: an optional avatar image and optional handicap.
- Golf data: the courses, rounds, hole-by-hole scores, putts, fairways and clubs you record.
- Social connections: your friend requests, friends list, and any users you block.
- Limited technical data: a coarse IP address is used briefly for rate-limiting (abuse prevention) and basic security logs (e.g. failed sign-in attempts). We never log your password.
Why we use it (lawful bases)
- To provide the service — create your account, save your scores, and let you play with friends (performance of a contract).
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse — rate limiting and security logging (legitimate interests).
- To let you reset your password by email (performance of a contract).
How long we keep it
- Account data: kept until you delete your account.
- Guest sessions: if you play as a guest without creating an account, your guest data is temporary and is automatically deleted 30 days after it was created, unless you upgrade to a full account first (which keeps your data).
- Security logs: retained only as long as needed for abuse prevention, then cleared.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service:
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider, which stores your account and golf data.
- Vercel — our hosting provider, which serves the website.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and data-protection terms.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only— a secure, httpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is required. If that ever changes, we'll add a proper consent banner.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can:
- Accessyour data — use “Download my data” on your account page for a full JSON export of your profile, rounds, scores and friends.
- Correct your data — edit your display name, username and profile any time in account settings.
- Deleteyour data — “Delete account” in settings removes your login, profile, friends and personal data. Your past scores are kept only in anonymised form so other players' rounds stay intact.
- Object or complain— contact us, or complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Clubhouse is not intended for children under 13. You must be 13 or older to create an account.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
